Cute and Comfy - Finally! A cute Keen. As usual they run on the wide side and I have a narrow foot. But this doesn’t bother me. I am a pretty standard 8 but have found that Keens, in the past, are not long enough and my big toe always bumps up against the end. But not this time. There is plenty of room in the toe box.
A great shoe for wide feet - Recovering from ankle surgery, my right foot is wider than my left and finding shoes that fit seems impossible. Plus my foot has always measured a whopping EEE width anyway. I highly recommend this shoe for high instepped women as well. It’s low enough in front to not cut. It breaks in quickly and I get lots of compliments. I have two pairs.
Formidable Woman - At 55, one is (hopefully) a fully grown bear. My new red Keen Calistoga’s help define my image and protect my feet. They say I am mobile, fit, strong, a cool Granny, and a fun lover, a woman who will get to where she out to go, perhaps on foot. A woman who can out run you, or stand and deliver. The red signals my nonconformist heart. I wear these shoes to meetings with the Rector at my Episcopal parish, to late lunches with the love of my life at that little French place, and when I am eating chocolates with my jazz piano-playing grandson. They match my red lipstick, and make it look even better, because when my feet are comfortable, I smile more. A lot more.
Loved it, but… It is so cute! I loved the way it looks, but, I have to wear hard insoles that take up a lot of room. The insoles that come in the shoe are removable, but they didn’t feel as comfy without them. The shoes insoles are really cushy. I would recommend them for anyone who doesn’t have to add special insoles. Also, I think they look cuter than in the picture.
Another winner from Keen! First I would like to say is that order your NORMAL size in this style of Keen. I normally wear a 9 medium to wide. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered a 9 in this style and it fits perfect! I have several other Keens and they are 9 1/2 & 10’s. So these run true to size. I have only worn them a handful of times but had no problems and my feet never asked to be free of shoes anytime during the day. They are a very cute comfy shoe.
Mary Janes with Spunk - I loved these Keens; they were perfect out of the box. Enough room in the toe box. I tried ordering 1/2 smaller with the Zoes and they fit well and I have no complaints. Keen Blackcomb Waterproof Leather Boots. These I ordered in an 11 and they are more than perfect. I can’t wait to get my husband a pair of Keen Sandal this summer
Love my Calistogas - Love these shoes. I have other Keen’s and these are pretty true to the fit of my others. Love the style. Only negative I have is that they don’t have the arch support that my Sydney’s have - so may not be as comfortable a walking shoe over distance.
I bought two pairs! I bought two pairs in carneilan and driftwood. I got them 1/2 size bigger, but I had to return them and get the regular size. They’re comfy, but since I have a very high arch, I don’t really feel the arch support. I am thinking about buying them in black also.
Cute, comfortable shoe with many wardrobe applications - I had tried on a similar Keen style in a local store to get my size and ordered accordingly. I would have ordered a 1/2 size smaller in this particular shoe as it turned out to be a bit bigger than the previous style I had tried. It will work well for winter and thicker socks, but will keep it from being a good summer shoe for me. The look is that cute Keen look that works well with casual clothing, but can also work with casual professional or casually dressed up going out attire. The shoe is very comfortable with a good amount of cushion. The rubber sole had a decent tread so it’s a stable shoe in slippery weather. It’s cute looking — the stitching and flower cut outs really add a little feminine flair to the shoe.
Ssuper cute Keens - These Keen mary janes are great. One word of advice though - definitely order your true size in this shoe. Usually I have to go up 1/2 size in Keen shoes, so I ordered a bigger size. They were huge! I ordered another pair in my regular size and they fit great, so stick to your regular size for this style. Best Keen Blackcomb Boots They feel super comfy and look adorable.
I’ve been buying knockoffs of Crocs for over a year now…wherever I’ve been able to find them, and finally switched over to the real thing…Crocs…so I could get more colors. I find now that although the knockoffs aren’t too bad the Crocs are made the best…the inside of the shoes feel better and they seem to give the best support. My podiatrist picked up one of my bright yellow ones when I was there last week and commented on how well they are made and what good support they give. I guess if a foot doctor says that, we know Crocs are the best!
Great for work - I bought these shoes to work in. I am a personal chef and spend a lot of time on my feet. They are comfortable, lightweight, and do not leave scuff marks on my clients’ floors. I have two pairs and am glad to have chosen the perfect shoe for my line of work.
I Gave In - The women I work with told me to get a pair of Crocs because my feet would feel better. They all wear them and I tease them that the shoes are ugly. I finally gave in and bought this pair. My co-workers are right. I love wearing them and even though I still don’t care that much for how they look, I need a pair in EVERY color. I’ll buy more in the future.
Weird sizing - These shoes could be very comfortable, but it is difficult to find the correct size without trying them on–they are very wide and there is a huge difference between each whole size increment (there are no half sizes, and only one width). Also, get the style without the holes on the side if you plan to wear them in dusty terrain!
I finally broke down and got a pair of these, uh hum, interesting looking shoes. Now I see what all the rage is about…they are so comfortable that I don’t want to take them off my feet. Especially being 8 months pregnant! I take a 7 and ordered the 7 (even with swollen feet) and there is plenty of room in them without them being too big. The brown is a great color for fall.
