Funky and fun - These shoes are funky looking yet attractive - I ordered them for an upcoming trip to Italy…they fit nicely with my orthotics (I usually wear 8 1/2, ordered these in a 9) and a sock - I just don’t want to wear them with socks in the summer, so regrettably, they are going back…I’m taking the Keen Juneau Boots Ventura retro-looking sneaker with me instead.

Great Walking Footwear - I bought this shoe right before our trip to Germany. I wore it constantly for about two days before our trip, and it was broken in perfectly by the time we arrived in Europe. I wore it every day we were there, b/c it was soooo comfortable. I only wish I had bought it or a similar Keen shoe in brown as well. I had never bought Keens before, but I am sure to buy some more in the future. SO comfortable! I was looking for a great walking shoe for an upcoming trip and found the Sydney II on a travel forum. They’re not as tall as I wish they were, but they’re incredibly well made, waterproof (even though they look suede-ish) and maybe the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever tried on.

Good-looking comfort - This is my second pair of Keen Sydneys. (I guess my first pair was technically a Keen Jueanu Shoes I.) There are some slight design differences between the two. This one is narrower and has more of a padded sole. They are so comfortable; they don’t even need to be broken in. Definitely order a half size larger than you would normally. That was true for the Sydney I, too. The only other warnings I will give is not to walk on anything too hot. (I melted my soles by accidentally stepping on BBQ coals.) And also the elastic gave out on the buckle of my last pair. But that was nothing my shoe repair shop couldn’t fix.

My first pair of Keen Juneau shoes. Love them. Fit according to size. Very comfortable. Getting unsolicited compliments on them. Will try another style too, sometime soon. I have an average width foot but with very skinny ankles and these don’t slip at all. Zappos shipping amazing…ordered on Sunday afternoon delivered Tues morning. If only… I was very excited to order this style. I first ordered a 7.5 which was quite too small. I then ordered an 8, which my other Keens are, but when it arrived it was a bit snug and the edge of the shoe really bit into the top/side of my foot. In desperation I ordered an 8.5, which alas, was too big. I thought the footbed was quite comfy and the shoe is very cute, and was immensely disappointed that I was unable to find a fit. I am now looking for a replacement.

Cute but not for me! I ordered these but sadly had to return them due to the fact that the diagonal part across the top of the foot was too tight on me. I must have a high instep or something because these just didn’t feel comfortable to me! They are cute though. I ended up getting the Keen Amsterdam and they were perfect for me. The return was super easy & Zappos had my replacement to me by the next day. Terrific service!!!! I liked the looks but was afraid they’d be too wide for my fairly slender narrow-to-medium foot. But no problems–comfortable right out of the box. I just wish they still also had the navy of the previous Sydney. Love the shale I got, though. And Zappos sped them to me!

Trekking through Southern France’s Cathar Country - I originally bought the Keen Calistogas but I returned them after wearing them around the house because they were exceptionally wide. I ordered the Sydney II’s the second time. They are also somewhat wide, but nothing like the Calistogas - and they turned out to be perfect light hiking shoes for my trip to France. I got lots of compliments on them and they could transition from day to night. Extremely comfortable. 1/2 size larger than my normal size. Great with thicker hiking socks! In France, I loaned them out to a woman who hadn’t brought proper outdoor shoes. She wore them as we hiked up the sheer face of a mountain in the rain and they did well for her, so they’re also functional as outdoor shoes. I would recommend something with a heavier tread, though, if you plan to do true mountain hiking. This shoe has a nice tread but nothing like a true hiking boot.

Red Keen Sydney II - I just have to write and add my review. I just received my Keens. Red Sydney II I ordered them yesterday after noon and they came today!! I LOVE them! I tried to buy some more Vans; you were out of the ones I wanted so I went looking for something else. (I wanted the white Chuckkas as I have the black.) Anyway, I thought these would be fun. I broke my ankle last year and the only shoes I can wear are the Vans, they really felt wonderful. Fit perfect too. These Keens feel fabulous!!! A tiny bit tight but as I wear them they are better. A larger size would not have worked. I am still waiting for the white chukkas to come in also! Thank you for your wonderful service!!! This is my second pair of Keens and I am very excited to find a cute casual shoe as opposed to just athletic shoes that will accommodate my orthotics without making me feel like I’m wearing my grandmother’s shoes. It does seem sized exactly like a pair of Keen athletic shoes I have, so in general I think I prefer this brand 1/2 size up from my normal size in other brands. Very comfortable! I wasn’t sure how I’d like these as I don’t own any Keen shoes. I tried on a pair of other Keens at a shoe store. They seemed very wide so I was worried if these would be too wide. According to the pics, they didnt look so bad. I have very small and narrow feet, size 5- 5 1/2. I bought these in size 5 and they are PERFECT and super comfy! I’ve worn them every day since! I originally bought the Naot Lily. They werent as cute as I thought and for the price of those, the leather didn’t seem so durable. I’m glad I exchanged them for this Sydney II.

I have this shoe in 5 different colors, and like the olive the best. I originally bought several pair in 7 1/2 and wore them for a while before realizing a smaller size would fit my feet better, so I ordered (eventually) 5 pair in size 7. The only thing about shoe I wish was different is that I would have liked a narrower heel. Years ago, it was easy to find shoes from different brands that were made on “combination lasts” meaning the toe area would be a B and the heel would be an A or double A. Those were the only shoes that truly fit my feet. That is why I now have to wear only shoes with straps.
