Comfort realized - I bought the shoes because I was looking for a shoe for a vacation that would involve a good deal of walking. I could not have chosen a better fit. I bought the B width, always a hard call for me as my feet border on wide. Well, the shoes could not have fit better. It took me a day to get used to the arches, but once I did, I don’t know why I haven’t made this a priority in shoe buying to this point. I am very happy with the shoes, though the toes look a little strange. I could walk forever.
I have three pairs! I now have 3 pairs of the Bronx in different colors. They are very versatile and I LOVE how they feel. I have two artificial knees - the Bronx seem to fit just right to make waking easy and comfortable. SO appreciated! I don’t know how I’ll ever buy anything but Keens again!
Best shoes ever! I now have 4 pairs of Keen shoes, and plan to get more; they are so great for someone who works on their feet all day. The Bronx is my favorite of all their line. They are roomy and comfortable, with lots of support and shock cushion. They also have a low-cut padded ankle, so no rubbing in that area, which is great. The Bronx is the best shoes I have ever owned, and I have owned a lot! I don’t think they are quite always a half size off, but if you go between two sizes depending on the shoe (and most of us do), you will definitely want to order the larger size. Try these; you’ll be happy you did!
Need more time to get to know each other - I walk 8 miles a day including over the Brooklyn Bridge twice. From the previous review I thought I could wear these off the bat. These take a lot of breaking in - I got blisters. The shoes can hurt on top as well. The seams may be the culprit. That said this shoe is worth your time. it has great shock absorption it is comfortable once broken in (like after 4 weeks of breaking in - and 8 miles a day I think a good test) the shoe is wide and comfortable and you should order a half size up. The shoes come with an extra pair of shoe laces - you may end up using them this Keen Sedona Clogs shoe is tougher than its laces. So in all shoes require a commitment but I think in time it will be the brooks saddle of the shoe world.
Comfort and style - I am a Keen addict and have rid my closet of almost all other footwear. I am 71, work on concrete flooring and am on my feet constantly. The Bronx fills the bill for both comfort and style and, like all my other Keens, requires NO BREAK-IN TIME. Thanks Zappos for excellent service.
Most comfortable shoes in over 10 years! I now have two pairs of the Keen Bronx women’s shoes. I tried on this shoe in a store, which is where I found that the M width was a W width for me, and I needed 1/2 size bigger than usual. I then ordered the shoes from Zappos, as they had more color choices and have such excellent, fast service! These shoes are especially comfortable for me, as they have a low heel, which decreases pressure on my arthritic metatarsal area. I don’t need to wear orthotics with the Bronx model. I put felt metatarsal pads under the Bronx insole, which gives good support for me. Even my border collie is delighted that I can hike so far again!
I was really happy to discover Keen shoes. They are as comfortable as running shoes and the toe box is nice and roomy. It’s nice not to have to wear running shoes every day just to have happy feat. I also have the Presido which is just as comfortable. The arch support is so good in these shoes that I don’t even use my orthotics.
They may not look like the most comfortable shoe (hard sole, etc.,) but I have never worn a shoe that I can run around all day in and not have my feet ache! It’s no wonder that many of the women at the barn where my daughter rides horses wear these all day long. They are worth every penny.
I have admired this shoe for years and finally decided to go for it. I love the choice of colors as well. The shoe for me, however, was very tight across the top and ran a bit short for me. I will try a size larger and hope it isn’t too loose.
Wears like iron, everyone tries to copy them, got them for less from another catalog, and had to send them back, the sizing was all off. That’s what happens when you try to save on Dansko. Nothing like the real thing, and always in fashion. Runs very roomy to wear with socks. I would get half size smaller for bare feet. No break in time needed!!
I’ve had Dansko stapled clogs before; I knew what I wanted and what size worked for me. As a suggestion by my daughter; I checked Zappos.com and saw exactly what I wanted and it was on my front stoop the next day. How could anything be better than that? I originally used and perused the website earlier this year looking for Keen water clogs; they happened to be on sale, I ordered and was very happy. So actually, I am a return customer. I also ordered some Allen Edmond shoes for my husband for a Christmas gift. So, I will always check out Zappos.com when I am yearning for some new shoes. Thank you, Judy Van Deursen
