I love the look of these shoes and the wide toe box, but I had some trouble finding the right size. I started out with 1/2 size bigger than I usually wear and the toe width and heel fit were right, but the instep was too narrow and they were overall too short - my toes hit the front of the shoe and the arch hit in the wrong place. I ended up with a full size larger than I usually wear and they fit pretty well. Now that I have the right size they are comfortable and good for walking. I like how light they are compared to other oxford type shoes. Also, they came with plain black laces I swapped for the patterned ones shown in the picture.

This shoe has a lot of spring to it. Very comfortable with wide toe area which is perfect for anyone who is prone to sore toes. It also has great support and is a moderately light shoe. I can walk all day in them…perfect for Christmas shopping!

Excellent shoe but short - I love these shoes. I have the black leather and although I purchased them somewhere else (Santacruz Sockshop and Shoe Co) the extremely talented folks there said these shoes tend to run short. So me being an 8.5 I wore a 9 comfortably. I went mountain biking with them and they’re awesome…buy stock.

Ordered these in plum, awesome color, unbelievably comfortable shoes, somewhere between the feel of a tennis shoe and a Birkenstock - best of both worlds in arch support. I have NEVER worn an 8.5, always 7.5 and 8, but I did take an 8.5 in these and most reviews I’ve read says you’ll need a half size bigger than usual which I found to be true. Excellent customer service and free (and lightening FAST) shipping and return shipping is simply UNHEARD OF - I WILL BE BACK!

A Fantastic Shoe - These shoes are comfortable right out of the box. I wear them every day, and my feet never hurt. They do seem to run a little bit small. I ordered a half-size larger than normal, and they fit perfectly.

These shoes are great! I wear mine to work as a nurse, and I can do four 12 hour shifts in a row and my feet don’t hurt after wearing these! I’ve worn sneakers and various other nursing shoes and clogs, and these, by far, are the most comfortable shoes I’ve found. I recommend them to anyone who is on their feet for long periods of time. The only thing is finding the right fit. I wear a size 8-8 1/2 in most shoes, and I found that a size 38 was too tight. I exchanged them for a 39, and they are the ones that fit the best.

a great travel shoe - Right now, I am traveling in the Baltic states. I ordered these Danskos because I wanted great walking shoes that would also work well for standing around in museums but wouldn’t look like tennis shoes. I read all the reviews and determined that Danskos would be a good choice, but I was still a bit wary Keen Kids Portola Shoes for Girls. It did take about two weeks to break in, but they are doing well and making my travels far more enjoyable. If you want comfort and style, I highly recommend them.

My Feet Don’t Hurt Anymore!! I love this shoe! I’ve been having a lot of foot pain lately and decided to give the Dansko Professional a try. I’m so glad I did! I live in these shoes now - they are even more comfortable than my sneakers. They have terrific arch support. I have a wider foot, so they are a little snug when I put them on, but after a few steps they feel great! Highly recommend to anyone with foot issues - a lot less expensive than a trip to the podiatrist!

What a pity!!!! Great look, materials and craftmanship but too narrow. Feel like three sizes smaller. I even ordered the next size and couldn’t even try them on. It’s not my feet because I also ordered Earth shoes and they feel great. I’m sending them back for a refund

Love That Purple! Ordered this shoe in Oiled Purple on 9-6 and it arrived here in ALASKA on 9-9 !! The purple is the most beautiful color. I’m in healthcare and also have high arches, trouble with plantar fascitis (heel pains) so I always wear DANSKO’s. I ordered these in 38 insteadof my usual 37 and I was right — the oiled leather does make a slight difference — the 38’s fit and feel great. Did I say how much I love the color??

A++ for these clogs! love, love, LOVE these clogs. comfy and a lot of support. I have the brown oiled. For some reason though, the strappy type dansko sandals do not fit on my high instep, but these fit perfectly. i wear an 8/8.5 and got the 39s…perfect. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who spends most of their day on their feet, I am a teacher they they get top marks from me and zappos too! As always, excellent service!

Life on your feet - I definitely recommend this shoe to all who are on their feet for the majority of there day. I work 10 hour shifts at a hospital in which the grand majority of my time is spent on my feet running around, in which this shoe has alleviated much of the pain related with my work days. It is very comfortable and stylish as well. Also , because I wear sandals all day long on my day off, I feel like tennis shoes are a bit clastrophobic and to restrictive. So if you are looking for a very comfortable, stylish, professional looking shoe - The Dansko Proffesional Oiled are the right ones. Oh yes, and Zappos is fantastic. They have awesome customer service and a great selection. I found that they were indeed true to size.

Fabulously comfortable - These are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. This is the third pair of Dansko Professionals I’ve had. I have two other pairs of Dansko shoes in other styles and these are still the most comfortable. I am able to walk around the cement sidewalks of New York City all day long and my feet still feel okay. I did have a short period (three-four days) of break-in time because I have a long second toe and large bunions, but I wore the shoes for short periods during that time and then everything was fine. I used to be a ballet dancer and these are the only shoes I could put on after five hours in point shoes that wouldn’t hurt my feet. As a matter of fact, they actually helped my feet feel better! My only complaint is that they’re a little clunky, but they look okay with black boot-cut pants so I can get away with them at work for the most part. I usually wear these if I need to walk anything over 10 mins, and then switch shoes if I need something more dressy. And I won’t wear anything BUT these if I know I’ll be walking for several hours.

Great shoe, but a tad big - Great looking shoe- but then as a nurse, I LOVE my clogs. Only thing- they seem to run a bit big- have to wear a very thick sock to prevent my foot from moving more than I’m used to. No break-in period needed. Got them, and promptly flew across country (luggage, flights, connections etc)a couple of days later. Walked all thru Chicago for several days. Only thing, wish they were offered 1/2 size smaller- would get lots more. And Zappos got them to me in record time! wonderful company. Have told lots of friends about the site.

Almost perfect… I am pleased for the most part with this shoe. I am a medical student so I needed shoes that would be good for being on my feet all day for clinical (and still look good). Unfortunately, I cannot wear them for too long because my toes go numb. Other than that, they are comfortable. They are the first pair of shoes (other than jogging shoes) that I don’t have to use band aids or moleskin. I am trying the Clarks Hannah shoes and see if they still do the same thing with my toes.
