Not for high insteps - I tried on several types of Keens (Bronx, Toronto, Dakota) and unlike the others, this one felt tight over the top of my foot. It also curves up a lot at the toe — the toenail of my big toe hit the top of the shoe as I walked. Very annoying! The toe box did not feel as wide as other Keens. Finally, the arch support felt like it was too far back towards my heel. I can see why most people think this is a comfy shoe (my feet are a weird shape so I am very picky) but just wanted to offer my comparison to other types of Keens.

After I received the proper size, these shoes felt perfect and wonderful right out of the box. All my other Keen’s (and I have several) are size 10. The Bronx fits me best in 10.5. I was not able to order my original choice of color in size 10.5 as they were not available. I prefer bright happy colors for my athletic, hiking, winter warm “play” shoes. So I had to settle on the ocean/cement which is subdued, but does blend well with jeans, and looks just fine with khakis. First time I wore them; they became muddy, and required thorough cleaning. I washed them in the machine, air dried them, and they look, and feel like new. As I have many foot pain issues, I was delighted with the comfort and support. I am able to place my orthotics inside but I do not believe it will be required due to the support of the footbed of the Bronx.

I am a new found believer in Keen shoes. After reading all the reviews I thought I would buy a pair and find out for myself. I absolutely love them. I now have 3 pairs and I am ordering more today…thanks Zappos for carrying these terrific shoes and having your customers provide feedback for others to see.

I have decided to wear Keens. Period. I saw someone with Keens on at work, and I was snagged! Especially since the woman plainly stated that her shoes were the most comfortable she’d ever owned. With my first pair of sandals I became a believer. I love ‘em, and I own several pairs (5) and they are just perfect. One thing, though. They do run a half size smaller than you normally wear. One thing I read in the reviews of Keens was that they fit wide feet better, but even though my feet are narrow, it’s great to have room to wiggle my toes freely. My feet have never been happier or healthier. My podiatrist wears them and recommends them too!

They were comfortable the minute I put them on!! I have picky feet. I found this brand several years ago in Hawaii. The new styles are great. They are soooo comfy. I had no “breaking in period”. They do run a bit small, so I went up a half size. I will be adding to my collection. Your service is excellent.

I like the look of this shoe better than the fit. I’ve had other Keen shoes so I was a bit disappointed in these. The fit is a bit off. I recommend going a full size larger than normal. The insole is the problem here, too short from the heel to the arch. I wouldn’t recommend this model.

Awesome! This is my first pair of Keens, and I will be getting more! They are comfortable from the start, and are great for working on my feet all day on ceramic tile floors. Love these Keen Kids Targhee Shoes, Finally my feet don’t hurt all the time! The service from Zappos is fantastic - way to go!

Unbeatable comfort even if you’re on your feet all day - I can’t say enough good stuff about Keen shoes (and about Zappos for that matter!). I’ve got four pairs of Keens and still counting. Keen’s Bronx provides all the comfort you could ever want in a shoe you can wear from dawn until bedtime. Terrific arch support as well. I like the fact that these are weatherproof as well–nonskid sole and waterproofing keeps your feet cozy. Definitely order a half size larger than you normally would. I’m an 8.5, but take a 9 in Keens. Cool looks too. People are always asking me where I got these. Thanks, Zappos, for making shopping with you so easy!!

3rd Pair!!! These are the most comfortable shoes for someone who is on her feet all day. They have an excellent arch, plenty of toe room & Fit like a pair of bedroom slippers, only with tons of support! Former lab assistant, now medical student, future intern/resident… these are the ONLY shoes I wear!!!!!

Fantastic Shoe- Great shoe for standing on your feet. I am flight attendant and all the stews were wearing this for the work segment. We stand on our feet for over eight hours and everyone was raving about these shoes. I have a back problem as well as bunions and these shoes became my instant favorite. Break them in for 24 hrs, though, because the foot has to adjust to them. Afterwards, heaven.

These shoes are really great. It took a little time to figure out how to walk in them because of their unique fit, but I’m very happy with them. They are not as padded as some other Dansko shoes I have, and the heel is meant to fit somewhat loose, but you can wear socks with them that way. I got in the mud the 1st time I wore them, and they cleaned right up and still look brand new. The European sizes weren’t a problem either. I went with the size that was equated to my size and a half size up, and it’s correct.

A Dansko Yogi- I am a yoga instructor and I highly recommend this shoe for all around wear. You can wear this shoe all day and feel as if you weren’t wearing shoes at all. I love the room this shoe offers in the toe. I love the fact you can just slip them on and off. I also love the fact the more you wear them the better they look. These shoes will just about take any weather Mother Nature has to offer. My 5-year-old wears Danskos to school because they are the only shoe she can’t destroy. I Just Love Them…
