While this shoe is comfortable, it is very wide across the toe and the look does not appeal to me. It is not as light and flexible a walking shoe as I was looking for. It is more of a cross between walking shoes and hiking boots.

They do run 1/2 size smaller. I tried to get my usual 1/2 size larger than normal Keen size, but they were out, so I tried one full size larger than my average shoe size, and it was comically large. But now I know how Minnie Mouse feels when she gets dressed.

The only problem with getting this shoe… (and it is a BIG problem) is that you have to then toss out all the shoes in your closet and order multiple pairs of Keen shoes– ’cause nothing is as cool and comfortable. Nothing. My husband is not happy with my discovery of Keens! I want to have the Bronx in every color! Order a half size up if you want to wear sox!

The Best - These shoes are amazing due to the anatomical foot bed that negates the expenditure of any sort of orthotic device. The width of the toe box allows for the comfortable 5-toed evolution that we humans have! The quality of workmanship is above average and the look, while not standard, is awesome in that it is not standard! Cheaper brands are now copying the look, but not the quality. Since the shoe is a bit pricey, order from Zappos as their price protection and shipping policies can’t be beat. Customer service is excellent!

Awesome comfortable shoe - This shoe has it all!!! Looks, comfort, and molds right to your foot. I am on my feet all day working in 11 buildings, and my feet are still not tired when I remove the shoe. I have several pairs of Keens and will continue to purchase this brand from now on…. Keen Kids Ventura Suede for Girls is the best… free shipping to and fro….. I live in Alaska and that is a wonderful bonus to be able to receive free shipping.

Comfortable walking shoe - I just took a trip to NY and spent one day walking around that great city. I wore the Keen’s per my friend’s recommendation. And wow! She was right!! My feet did not hurt at all the entire day. Higher recommend them.

If the shoe fits… Have to agree with many folks’ sizing comments re: Keens. Keens are super fun and really comfortable but sizing can be a challenge. You never know what you’re going to get true size wise. Some styles are true to my shoe size while others require a half or full size larger than I normally get. Don’t know why but once I hunt down the right size for the style I’m looking for they are great.

Love ‘em - I first tried on these shoes at a high priced local store and, although I really wanted them, couldn’t see paying the price. So, I was pretty stoked to find them at Zappos at a great price. They fit perfectly (no break in needed) and are now my favorite shoes. The arch support gives my high arches great support and I can wear them all day without fatigue. I love the oiled purple color because it looks more like a very dark royal blue and looks great with jeans. Zappos’ delivery was very fast — I ordered a pair of shoes from the competition’s web site and it took almost 2 weeks to get the shoes. I’ll never order from anyone else. Keep up the great service.

Sizing Is Difficult - The first pair I ordered was too small even though I ordered up a half size. I returned them and got the next largest size, but the second pair is too big. Yes, your heel is supposed to move up and down but I have to wear them with really thick socks to keep them from sliding and flopping all around. I suppose the socks are actually an advantage if you live where the winters are cold. They aren’t very often here. I like the way Dansko’s look though cute is not exactly a word I’d apply to clogs. They do look better than Birkenstock clogs, and they are comfortable. Keen Kids Ventura Suede. They might be the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned…if they came in my size. I am keeping them, and buying more socks.

My dream shoe! My first experience with Dansko clogs, and I’m HOOKED. The shoe was instantly comfortable right out of the box. I usually wear a 5.5 or 6, and found that the euro 36 fits perfectly with my mid-weight smartwool socks. Perfect for cold weather!

Great clog, and I am no clog girl. My sister insisted I get these; we both have high arches and, consequently, bunions, and so far these are perfect. I can actually feel the arch support and have room to wiggle my toes. They did take some getting used to–both the rocking walking motion and the heel (they’re not high at all, I’m just not used to any heel). Only comment would be on the look–just not a fan of the clog, but when they feel this good, I can deal.

Worth the wait! This is my 5th pair of Dansko’s and the first time buying the closed back clogs and I love them. I almost always wear a 9 1/2 shoe so I heeded Zappo’s advice and went up a size- big mistake (pun intended). I returned the 40’s and went down to a 39 and they fit perfectly. As is typical for Dansko’s they are supremely comfortable and for someone that’s on their feet all day they are a dream!
