Cute comfy but strap rubs a bit - I had a pair of keens, I think they were the Sydney’s… loved them to death, literally. They were so comfy! So I got these to replace them, liking the slip ons better than the full heel, but this model does not have the little padding on the strap that my old ones did, and it is rubbing my after 5 days of wearing them. Otherwise I love them, so comfortable! I like the roomy toe box, it just took some time to get used to it, now I prefer it! Little small - My foot is a 6 sometimes a 6 1/2. I had to send back as I was walking on the little ledge of the heel and order the 6 1/2, which fits fine. I haven’t worn them a lot yet but they feel comfortable so far and I am very into comfort.
I’m hooked on Keens - I just received my first two pairs of keens. I order the Berkeley’s and the Carmels I can’t believe how comfortable they are. I had foot surgery on both feet two years ago and I’m having no problems wearing them for hours. I work retail and put a lot of miles waking all around the store and they feel great after a long day. Thanks to Zappos I received them in one day with free overnight shipping. Thanks! Happy with my keens. They Can’t Be Beat! I now own 6 pair of Keen Presidio shoes. They are the most comfortable for my feet - especially the ones with arch support built in. The Keen Presidio is a cute shoe in a delightful color that provides support and comfort.
Cute and comfortable - I love the way these shoes look. They’re very cute. Of course, shoes have to be comfortable too, for me to wear them. (My foot is not narrow across, but it is thin top to bottom, and I have a very high arch. I am on my feet a lot at work, so comfort is a big deal.) These seem to be quite comfortable. At first, I thought they might be a little too big, but I took out the insole and put in my orthotics which are a little thicker, adjusted the strap to the smallest fit, and–perfect! I think if someone had a narrow foot, these shoes might too wide, though. But I like them a lot.
Pleased as punch with these shoes! I really love these shoes, and I find myself wearing them all the time! I wear them to work and on weekends. They are very casual and comfortable to walk in all day. My only complaint would be that the inside of the shoe (the insole) is not glued in and I find that sometimes after a long day w/o socks it pulls out with my foot, but that’s easy to fix and I appreciate that it could be replaced easily. Other than that these are highly recommended!
Good Looking, But Arch Support Lacking - I have a couple pairs of Keens that I wore walking all over Paris and my feet didn’t give me any problems (I have plantar fasciitis [sp?]). Anyway, when I saw these I thought they were much cuter then the ones that I had, and liked the fact that they are waterproof and have a working buckle, so I eagerly purchased them for a trip to Charleston and Savannah. Well, they are cute, but one definitely needs to wear a sock as there is a ‘lip’ on the back of the shoe and I got blisters on both of my heels because I work them without socks because of the unseasonably warm weather. Also, for me at least, the arch support is just not as good as the other Keens, which is too bad, because they really are cute.
Slippers for my feet - My massage therapist recommended this brand to me because my feet are in such bad shape. This is my first pair of Keens and they’re very comfortable. I found them true to size, although wearing them for about a week around the house has stretched the leather. But this only adds to the comfort. I have since purchased 2 more pairs of Keen; however the style I purchased (the Saratoga II) which is similar in appearance is less comfortable. I think the cutout just past the toes is narrower and less forgiving. I’m hoping that wearing it will stretch that area out as well. They seem very well made and not clunky-looking. Lots of room in the toebox, which accommodate my bunions. BTW, I found this pair advertised for less and Zappos honored its 110% price protection policy! Zappos is fab!
Beth PDX - Once again Zappos gives superior service. I ordered my shoes and they arrived at my door in less than 36 hours. This is my fourth pair of Keens. I love them for their comfort and funky stylish look. They are one of the most comfortable shoes on the market with an excellent price! I’m a totally satisfied customer. I recommend Zappos and Keen’s to all my friends and coworkers; I just did at work today! I’ve worn this year. It has very good arch support as well as a slight lift in the ball of my foot which is helping correct pain from narrower footwear. I’ve also gotten unsolicited “cute shoes!” comments on the street. My only complaint is they need more of the contrasting color combinations. I have loved Keens since my 1st pair. They are the only shoe I can wear without my orthotics. The Berkeley was wider then the joelle clog which I also purchased - but very comfortable. My daughter who is 7 has been wearing Keens for 3 years now and does not want anything else!! Thank you Zappos for being the best!!
Comfort right out of the box - The Berkeley is another winner from Keen! I now have these in two colors and they are some of the most comfortable shoes I have worn. I ordered my usual size, a 9.5, and they fit perfectly. I have had several compliments on them already. If you like wearing fun or funky socks, these are perfect for that! The rubber sole is very convenient for protecting the shoe from wet pavement. The Berkeley is a little lower to the ground than a typical clog, which makes them feel more stable. A great shoe from Keen and great service from Zappos!
I have the most awful feet in the world. The ball of my foot is wide due to bunions, but my foot is relatively narrow elsewhere. These shoes fit my feet wonderfully!!!! I am on my feet most of the day and my bunions do not hurt with these shoes! The strap across the instep allows for a custom and secure fit. I usually wear a 7 1/2 to an 8 shoe. I chose an 8 in this style and they are perfect! The shoes are very light weight. The non-marking sole is an added plus! The only thing negative is that I wish they had a better arch support, although what is provided is adequate! I usually love Keens but they seem to be getting wider and wider. I by no means have narrow feet but most of their shoes seem to be too wide for me lately. As for size, I usually order a 10 in keens but a 9 1/2 fit perfectly in length. These are very cute on but very loose, even with the strap tightened. Close but no cigar.
